I have hit my stretch goal of $10,000! Thank you for your support!

$10,000 means clean water for 200 children, as TWV can supply sustainable clean water for $50 per kid. As a full Chicago team of 1,743
participants, we have raised over 4 million dollars to date! I'm pretty sure that's a record!

Help me raise $10,000 to develop clean water wells for children all over the world as I run the Chicago Marathon on October 13th 2024! You can donate at the TWV donation page.

Incentive Levels: New for this year are bonuses based off donations of a certain level.
-$100: Super Hero level. You are a super hero who will be honored as such with a special TWV branded item
-$250: Legend level. getting water to 5 makes you a local legend, and legends don't have to pay for a drink. You will get a bottle of Whiskey from my collection.

Follow my training progress on Strava, and listen to my tunes during training and during the marathon on Spotify.

There are many ways to support this great cause:
  • Make a donation: Every donation makes an impact.
  • Sponsor a child: Make a difference in a kid's life FOREVER!
  • Run with TWV: let's run together and change the world.

Thank you for considering supporting this great cause. There are nearly 700 million people in the world who do not have readily available access to clean water. These unfortunate people will walk an average of 4 miles per day, to fill up a 5 gallon jug (which weighs nearly 41 pounds) so that they have water to drink, wash, and cook with. TWV had a great process in place where they can provide a local well, and can accomplish that at a ratio of $50 per 1 person. That means every $50 donated, 1 person is no longer in critical need for water.

The day of the marathon, you can track my progress, find where to cheer me on and even see photos using the Bank of America marathon app. Just download it, and search for me in the runners. I'll be spending pre and post race at the Team World Vision Tent (located at the north side of the park at Randolph and Michigan, enter off Randolph st.).

See you October 13th!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

I am seeking a 5 hour Marathon time for this year.
Wave 2: J group. Bib# 48163 I'll start running at the end of Wave 2, likely around 8:20am. These are my expected times around parts of the course.
Yellow lines are the best places to watch me.
I'll start and end the day at the TWV tent, which is by Randolph and Michigan ave.
Friends and family are welcome!
